Louise Smith, Executive Officer

Louise has been the Executive Officer of the Capital City LLEN since 2006 and in that time has brokered several significant and successful large partnerships aimed at re-engaging the most at risk young people in the City of Melbourne, including the homeless. Louise brings with her experience gained in management roles across various sectors, including working for Mission Australia, the Victorian Public Service and for the SkillShare network. She also has worked as a secondary school teacher in Melbourne and London and has taught and developed programs in the TAFE sector.

Pippa Sowman, Program Officer

Pippa joined the Capital City LLEN in 2011 bringing her experience gained in the commercial sector, education and paediatric hospitals from her time working in Melbourne and the UK.  Her most recent role was maximising the education outcomes of at risk young people attending the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.  Pippa looks forward to bringing all of her experience together when developing new career initiatives and patnerships for our young people.

Tanya Hoger, Book keeper

Tanya is currently working part time for us whilst she completes her professional qualifications at RMIT university and has held senior administrative roles in local government in Germany.
