Parents and Families |
|
Parents and families play a key role in influencing and guiding the career and education choices of our young people. The LLEN recognises the value and importants of keeping the parents and families of our young people, aged 10 to 19 years informed of the various education, training and career options available. We also recognise that parental engagement in our partnerships provides the insight and access to contemporary parental concerns needed to ensure our partnership initiatives are focused on their children's immediate needs. Many of our partnerships also directly impact parents through the service provision of shared initiatives to youth in the community – this is a welcome by product, as disadvantaged parents can be empowered to further enhance the outcomes of their children via their participation also. |
